“I contemplated getting a coach for quite a while but I was concerned about choosing the right person. From the moment I first contacted Luke I was instantly put at ease. Luke’s extensive knowledge and attention to detail was evident instantly. For awhile I struggled with progression in the gym and also became a bit disillusioned with my fitness goals.

"I started my plan with Luke with the goal to prep for a photoshoot. When I first started with Luke I had been training for over a year, so I had a pretty good knowledge and routine when it came to training but the same couldn’t really be said for food. In the weeks before I started prep I was either too strict or completely off plan! But from the get-go Luke made the process so easy and enjoyable.
Luke is super easy to talk to and usually the voice of reason, any phases of frustration or self-doubt I had never lasted long. Just from Luke questioning my daily-steps, water intake, mood and sleep pattern I’ve become much more consciously aware of all these factors that effect weight loss and general health. Even when it came to eating out I was reluctant and nervous to eat off plan but again Luke being the voice of reason telling me to cop on and go enjoy a dinner the knowledge this man has is second to none, for anyone eager to learn about nutrition and/or looking to better their health in general I couldn’t recommend Luke more! "I started with Luke for an initial 8 weeks to get myself in shape before a holiday having tried and failed every year to stay consistent. Having trained on my own for 7-8 years and not seeing results, I knew I needed to make myself accountable and I had been following Luke for a couple of months so thought I would go for it.

Luke completely changed my attitude towards food. Tracking was something I had tried over the years with varying degrees of success, but Luke broke it down and made it simple, teaching me how to make allowances for gigs, nights out and events which is something I always struggled with. Everything is a discussion with him guiding me in the right direction and teaching me to think for myself.
Our check ins were a great touchpoint for the week and helped evaluate what went well and what went wrong as my goals changed each week. I can’t stress enough how much I appreciate what this man has helped me achieve. With a lot of external stressors, Luke helped me through a pretty heavy time (no pun intended) and was always available for a chat. So much more than your typical online coach!

After a bit of a wild year last year with drink and food, I don’t think I cared too much about how the body looked as I was having the time of my life with nights out, travelling with work etc. It wasn’t until around Christmas when I was really noticing the extra weight and was getting a bit too conscious of wearing loose fitting clothes etc so it didn’t seem like I was up weight that I realised I needed to reign it in a little. Since I have started with Luke it has really gotten me back on track and I am looking and feeling better than ever, without feeling like I’m on a ‘diet’. The plan has been super easy to work with and I have learned SO much about my own body, how it reacts to different things with nutrition, training, STEPS, sleep and a couple of other things that you wouldn’t normally think would play a part in changing your body. I am well and truly on the way to getting where I want to be physically, and I am delighted to have Luke as a coach for the process. My favourite part of it all is that I am still able to have a social life and eat all kinds of food, I just now have the knowledge to integrate it into my diet and keep the progress going!

This first picture was taken at the end of my holidays, I had 2 months of no gym after an operation. Continued on by "I'll just start healthy again after holidays" "do the dog on it now and be good when I'm home". The Gym was never a problem for me but being consistent with my nutrition was! Had a lot of bad habits. In hindsight now I can see I had developed an unhealthy mindset too. I have become aware of patterns in myself, that I am now able to combat with new skills I have learned in order to maintain a healthy balance and lifestyle. Now no matter what life throws at me I am able to stay consistent with my training/nutrition. Whether it's a night out with friends, Christmas, birthday or just a bad mental health week! I am confident in myself that what ever the occasion or life circumstances I can keep progressing. I have a completely different relationship with food. I enjoy every bit of my food, without the guilt that I had before. Overall I am so proud of how much I have progressed from the girl in the negative cycle of relentless excuses of "tired" "mom duties" "work" "I deserve this __" "I'll start Monday"....to a strong, confident, healthy person inside and out. The inside transformation for me has definitely impacted me 10 times more than the physical transformation. Enjoying every bit of the process, learning and developing more each week as I go!.

“Before I met Luke I had a roller-coaster relationship with everything to do with training & nutrition, I was so obsessed with getting my weight back down to where I was comfortable that it actually started taking over my life. I had gotten to a point where my calories were so low that it would lead to big binges and even bigger guilt trips. I was so worked up about everything that my mental health took a huge hit as I would constantly be thinking things like ‘no I can't eat that’ forming such an unhealthy mindset that I literally stopped socializing and as we all know this can be a dangerous place to be.
On top of all of this- there was my menstrual cycle! I think most girls can relate to this- two weeks of feeling like you’re actually getting somewhere with your training & food and then two weeks of PMS’ing/ moods/ period pains/ cravings/ irritation- for me, it played a huge role in my overall progress. I used to completely give up on everything the week I was pms’ing and the week of my period (that’s a whole two weeks)- I could not figure out how I was going to combat this problem.
I decided to give it all one last chance but I knew I needed help. Believe me, when I say- meeting luke and getting help was the best thing I have ever done. We talked through EVERYTHING- sleep, mindset towards food, water, menstrual cycle, training- luke got to the root of all of the above problems and changed my whole mindset about training, nutrition and most of all he thought me how to train and eat around my menstrual cycle. I learned how to socialize without feeling ‘bad’- no restrictions necessary! I am now standing at the same weight as I was when I did my first photoshoot and the process felt effortless- the last time I weighed this weight I was miserable/ starving and I put on about 5kg post-shoot.
